(i) Started subscribing to the various utilities we will use during this course
Checklist:
1. Set up blog at wordpress.com
2. Subscribe to class Facebook group
3. Subscribe to class wiki
4. Subscribe to Flickr / Class Flickr group
5. Subscribe to class RSS reader (Friday class mostly complete)
(ii) Conducted brief reporting/writing-up exercises. The Friday class was assigned to report and write a bio of a classmate. The Wednesday class was tasked to conduct a report of a local restaurant.
In classes this week we will:
Complete the subscription process
Discuss plagiarism / Creative Commons
Discuss how to use Tor to get around “net nanny” - useful when on the mainland
Take a look at last week’s class exercises!
Discuss your Prague/Cambodia projects
BEFORE WE REVIEW THE CLASS REPORTING/WRITING-UP EXERCISES YOU MAY WISH TO DOUBLE CHECK YOU FULFILLED THE REQUIREMENTS!
Remember: you were required to follow the following format when writing up your report. If you did not do so (and some didn’t) please correct your report before we start discussions. The format is:
