Hong Kong - Feb 4 - IJS-Global -Similar to the importance of the Christmas Day for the westerners, the Spring Festival is the most important celebration for Chinese people.

Setting off fireworks, eating reunion dinner with family, watching gala party after dinner, Chinese people are always immersed in the joy and happiness during their lunar new year.

But this year under the deteriorating global financial situation, will Chinese people tighten their belts? Does financial tsunami affect the economy of this rising giant and ultimately have some impact to people’s daily lives? To find the answer, please follow our reporters from mainland and Hong Kong.
